Wild Life

Preservation of wild life has drawn the attention of the indian governmet as well as of many foriegn governments. They have realized that man has been very cruel to animals. He has been so cruel that manyspecies of wild animals are extinct now and many are on the stage of extinction. The Royal Bengal Tiger, The Great indian elephant, The Asiatic Lion, the Indian Bustard and the siberian crane, well known species of wild life in the country, face the danger of extinction.
Man Has always hunted animals are food, for adventure and, for greed og money. He has killed Lions, Tigers and crocodiles for their skin and elephant for there tusks. Deforestation in a large number has also has resulted in their destruction.
ThePublic and government beacme aware of this fact, and decide to preserve them, strict laws were passed prohibbiting the killing of wild animals. in 1972 the central wild life  Act was passed. under this act species of animals facing the danger of extinction have been given protection of hunting. Trade in these species  has been also  subjected to certain rules, The Indian Board of Wild Life has also been formed to advise the government on wild life. There are some also voluntery  organisations also like. The Bombay History natural society and The World Life Fund, India which have done commendable work in this direction. As a result off these efforts fourty four national Parks and 207 sancuaries have been stablished all over the country to give these animals protection and ensure there survival. Kanha National PArk in Madhya Pradesh, Bharatpur Bird Sancuary in Rajasthan. Corbett National Park and Dudhwa national PArk in U.P and Gir Natioanal Park in Gujrat, are some of these. The Government has achieved considerable success but much more is desired. Many species of animals and Birds are still in danger of extinction.

The Great Man

Gandhi's great aim in life was to help to improve the condition of poor and suffering people, and to aid people in any way he could, but always using without force. he was against every sort of evil, no matter of what kind, when he tried to find out about the condition among poor farm workers, the people crowded around him by the hundreds. A friend had come among them, someone who wanted to help them, and to them this was something new. When the police ordered Gandhi to leave the place, he refused and in the court he explained why he could not obey. Then he asked the court to punish him for breaking the law. The court did not know what verdict to give him in such a case, and so let him go free. This was the first step in what come to be an important and common event in many part of India to refuse to obey a law considered to be unjust and at the same time calmly to accept any punishment that might be given and never to retaliate.

Technology

Television might be abused and then it may warp the mind of its viewers, especially those young once, who are sensitive to every kind of impression. But if it is properly used, it may lead to the enhancement of human life itself. We should try by means of this great mode of communication, which has such as an immediate impact on the minds of people who view it, to to enable them to cost off super station, to emancipate their mind from any kind of narrowness, combat every kind of false idea which has taken lodgement in the minds of these people. It is therefore great means of education. We should use it for that purpose and it is my earnests hope that the television will be employed in this country for the good purpose of improving the quality of our men and women and not for making them shoddy and sloven.
we should use documentaries, short plays, films, abridgments  of classics, so that  the student do not get in schools and college might be provided for them when they view the television. That is what is necessary. I think under paper management, it may be regarded as one of the highest mode of mass communication. You have three sight hearing, Pictures, Music - all these things mixed together.

The Real Beauty

The real ornament of a woman is her character, her purity, metal and stones can never be a real ornaments. The names of women like Sita and damaynti have became sacred to us for their unsullied virtue, never for their jewelery, if they wore any. My asking from you your jewelry has also a wider significance. Several sisters have told me that they feel all the better getting rid of their jewels. I have called this an act of  merit in more ways than one. No man or woman are entitled to the possession of wealth, unless he or she is given a fair share of it to the poor and helpless. it is social and religious obligation and has been called a sacrifice by the bhagvad gita. He who does not offer this sacrifice has been called a thief. the geeta has enumerated many forms of sacrifice, but what great sacrifice can be there than to serve to the poor and the needy? For us, today, there can be no sacrifice higher tan to be forget the distinctions of high and low to realize the equality of all men. I also wish to bring home to the women of the India that real ornamentation lies not in loading the body with metal and stone, but in purifying the heart and developing the beauty of soul.
